Be assured, everything including quarantine centre is fine in Cachar, tweets Himanta
May 13: The episode of a bus entering in Cachar on 6 May invited a wide controversy after 10 passengers tested COVID-19 positive. Several questions were raised as to why the passengers were first allowed to go for home quarantine. Many asked the reason for nor keeping the passengers in institutional quarantine facility. On Wednesday, a similar question was raised by a twitterati by tagging Chief Minister, Sarbananda Sonowal and Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma.
The twitterati wrote, “Why aren’t there any quarantine center in #cachar? The zone turned significantly from Green to Orange in the #ArogyaSetuApp. Why wasn’t there adequate checking equipment at the border which resulted in such havoc. Who’s at fault? The people travelling? @himantabiswa @sarbanandsonwal.”
