ত্রিপুরা থেকে এখন কেউ আসামে ঢুকতে পারবেন না, ডিসির নির্দেশ
Entry to Karimganj from Tripura via Churaibari prohibited: DC Anbamuthan

9 মেঃ ত্রিপুরাতে করোনা রোগীর সংখ্যা লাফিয়ে বাড়তে থাকায় করিমগঞ্জের জেলাশাসক ওই রাজ্য থেকে আসামে আসার ওপর নিষেধাজ্ঞা জারি করেছেন। এক নির্দেশে জেলাশাসক আনবুমাথান এমপি বলেন, পুনরাদেশ না দেওয়া পর্যন্ত ত্রিপুরা থেকে কাউকে এই রাজ্যে ঢুকতে দেওয়া হবে না। চুরাইবাড়ি গেটে আটকে দেওয়া হবে।

একমাত্র জরুরি প্রয়োজনে কেউ জেলাশাসকের অনুমতি নিয়ে গেট পেরোতে পারেন। করিমগঞ্জ হয়ে যারা অন্যত্র যাবেন তাদের চেকগেটে গাড়ি থেকে নেমে সুস্থতার পরীক্ষা দিতে হবে।  লরিচালক সহ যারা এই সময়ে করিমগঞ্জ পেরোবেন, তাদের আরও একটা শর্ত মেনে নিতে হবে, করিমগঞ্জের কোথাও গাড়ি দাঁড় করানো চলবে না।

May 9: In view of the rising number of COVID-19 positive cases in the state of Tripura and to curb the possibility of its outbreak in Karimganj, all incoming passenger movements from Churaibari check post are prohibited except for emergencies. The order shall come into force with immediate effect and will remain in force until further orders. This was notified by Anbamuthan M.P, District Magistrate of Karimganj on 9 May, 2020.

The prohibitory order issued under section 144 of CrPc stated that passenger movement from the district to the state of Tripura or to other destinations via Churaibari check post is permitted in accordance with the Ministry of Home Affairs Order dated May 2020. They shall undergo mandatory health checkup at the check post. It was further informed that all goods carriers carrying commodities are allowed to ply through Churaibari check post subject to mandatory registration and health checkup of drivers and cleaners/ handymen.Once they enter Kanmganj district, they shall not halt anywhere in the district.

Anbamuthan M.P. stated that, “As the requirement of this order is urgent, the order is being passed ex-parte.” Any violation of the above order shall be punishable under section 51 to 60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 and section 188/270 of IPC (45 of 1860).
