COVID-19: One-stop mobile app COVAAS launched by Assam government

April 18: A mobile application ‘COVAAS’ to address all the COVID-19 related issues in Assam was launched by Chief Minister Sarbanada Sonowal. This will serve as a one-stop app for any information related to coronavirus. The application is developed by National Informatics Centre(NIC). COVAAS seems to be the abbrebiated form of COVID ASSAM.

Now COVAAS will provide all initiatives undertaken by the Government of Assam under a single platform. This Mobile App can be downloaded from google Playstore. The App has a number of features like application of lockdown epass, 104 helpline, live help desk, contact numbers of district nodal officers, link for joining as a volunteer, link for donation to CM/PM relief funds, government advisories, travelling advisories etc.
