Deptt. of Performing Arts of Assam University to perform ‘shadow theatre’ on 16 & 17 March

March 13: The drama students of the Deparment of Performing Arts of Assam University will perform shadow theatre on 16th and 17th of March 2020. The students have designed their performance using the technique of shadow as part of their course and presentation.

Due to COVID-19 and as per the letter from UGC, the show will be for limited spectators on a first come first serve basis. The organisers requested the audience to occupy the seats in the multipurpose auditorium 10 minutes before the commencement of the show. The performers have selected different themes based on humanity and life, woman and society, with a description of different stories. The show will be in Hindi, Bengali and Assamese language.
