Man died in Scooty Accident at Katigorah

২২ সেপ্টেম্বর: শ্বশুরবাড়ি বেড়াতে গিয়ে সড়ক দুর্ঘটনায় প্রাণ হারালেন কাটিগড়ার বাসিন্দা অজয় কুমার চৌধুরী। ত্রিপুরার কদমতলায় তার শ্বশুরবাড়ি। শুক্রবার সেখান থেকে শ্যালকের স্কুটি নিয়ে বেরিয়ে যান পার্শ্ববর্তী গ্রাম ব্রজেন্দ্রনগরে, এক আত্মীয়ের বাড়িতে। ফেরার পথে দুর্ঘটনায় গুরুতর জখম হন। খবর পেয়ে শ্বশুরবাড়ির লোকজন ছুটে গিয়ে তাঁকে হাসপাতালে নিয়ে যান। পরে উন্নত চিকিৎসার জন্য শিলচরের উদ্দেশে রওনা হন। কিন্তু ত্রিপুরা থেকে অসমে ঢুকতেই প্রাণ হারালেন ৫৫ বছর বয়সী অজয় বাবু।

September 22: Ajoy Kumar Choudhury, a resident of Katigorah in district Cachar lost his life in a street accident while he went to his in-laws house. The house of his father-in-law is at Kadamtala in Tripura. On Friday, he took his brother-in-laws scooty and started for his relative’s house in the neighbouring village of Brajendranagar. While returning, he met with an accident and was severely injured. On being informed, his relatives rushed to the spot and took him to the hospital. However, for better treatment he was referred to Silchar Medical College & Hospital. But on the way to Silchar, 55 year old Ajoy Kumar Choudhury died.
