February 19: Applications were invited from Panchayat & Rural Development (PNRD), Government of Assam for the post of District Resource Person (DRP) on purely contractual basis in the Assam Society for Social Audit (ASSA) under PNRD, Assam. A total of 11 District Resource Person (DRP) will be recruited. Applications are to be submitted online only at www.pnrdhcms.org within 25 February, 200 and scanned documents to be uploaded with the online application.

A consolidated salary of Rs. 30,000 will be paid per month. Interested candidates shall have done Post Graduation in Social Work (MSW)/ Rural Development. However, preference will be given to those who have a minimum of three  years of Post Qualification work experience on social audits and rights of the poor. Further, the candidates must have the ability to speak any of the local languages viz. Assamese/Bengali /Bodo.

The short-listed candidates have to appear for an interview and/or written test for which no TA/DA shall be paid. The work of DRP will involve extensive travels to rural areas of Assam, overnight stay in the villages, fight for the rights of the poor. The Jurisdiction of DRPs is transferable to any districts of Assam.
