36 BSNL Centres including Hailakandi & Karimganj to offer Aadhaar enrollment services

October 14: A total number of 36 Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) customer care centres in Assam including Hailakandi & Karimganj will offer Aadhaar enrolment services. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI)  has recently designated BSNL Customer Service Centres as Aadhaar Seva Kendra for Aadhaar enrollment services on pan India basis.

The Aadhaar is a 12-digit unique identity number that can be obtained voluntarily by the residents of India, based on their biometric and demographic data. The major centres are operating at including Guwahati, Barpeta, Bongaigaon, Dhubri, Kokrajhar, Nalbari, Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Golaghat, Jorhat, Sivasagar, Majuli, Morigaon, Nagaon, Haflong, Hailakandi, Karimganj, Tezpur, Mangaldoi, Udalguri.

These 36 BSNL customer care centres are equipped with the facility of new Aadhaar enrollment and Aadhaar card modifications. For Aadhaar related services, the public can visit the seva kendras for applying for new Aadhaar cards and modification/correction in the existing cards.
