Spectacular performance of Sandipan Mishra of Aryan Junior College in H.S.

May 26: Since its inception in 2007, Aryan Junior College, Silchar has been improving its performance in Higher Secondary Examinations. Overcoming all odds, the college successfully runs Arts, Commerce & Science streams in its campus at Rangirkhari, Silchar. This year too, the students of Aryan Junior College performed well in all the three streams.

Sandipan Mishra from Science stream secured a total of 92.2 percent marks. He missed out state rank by a margin of only 7 marks. Sandipan got 97 in Physics, 98 in Chemistry, 93 in Mathematics,  89 in English and 84 in Alternative English.

This year, a total of 62 students from Science stream appeared in the HS Final, out of which 61 passed. 42 of them were placed in 1st division, 17 second division and two third division. There were 54 letter marks in the Science stream. Further,there were 4 distinctions and 12 star mark holders. The total pass percentage in Science is 98.5.

42 students appeared in HS Final from the Arts stream, out of which 41 of them passed. 16 students got 1st division, 18 2nd division and 7 third division. There were 3 distinctions and 6 star mark holders. There were 23 letter marks in the Arts stream. The highest individual percentage in Arts is 85.4. The total pass percentage in Arts is 98. In Commerce stream, a total of 16 students appeared, out of which 15 of them passed. The pass percentage in commerce is 94.

Speaking to way2barak, the college authority said, “We strive hard to transform the average students into achievers of the future. Our motto since the last 11 years of our existence has been superior guidance, acceptance and excellence.”
