May 23: Kripanath Mallah of BJP has won the Karimganj Parliamentary seat. He has defeated Radheshshyam Biswas of AIUDF by a margin of around 17,000 votes. It’s after 2 decades that the BJP has won the Karimganj seat. The Congress candidate Swarup Das is in the 3rd position
