Dead body of a 12-year old boy who drowned in river recovered

May 8: A 12 year old boy Ashim Kumar Singh got drowned in the river when he went for swimming. He was a resident of Manipuri Basti at Kalinagar.in Borkhola. His dead body floated in the river Dolu on Wednesday morning.

As per report, Ashim went to take bath in river Dolu on Tuesday. However, he suddenly drowned in the river. His sisters who were at the spot raised a hue and cry. Locals tried to search him but in vain. SDRF was informed who too failed to locate the boy.

Finally on Wednesday morning, his body was seen floating in the river. Police reached the spot and took the body for post-mortem. Ashim was a student at Kalinagar LP School.
