way2barak, November 21: An awareness programme on the “Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Roll” was conducted at the Women’s College on 20th November. The event aimed to educate students about the importance of registering as voters and the process of enrolment in the photo electoral roll.
The session was led by Dr. Avinandan Choudhury, the Head of the Department of Political Science. Dr. Choudhury delivered an engaging and informative presentation, highlighting the significance of voting as a fundamental democratic right and duty. He emphasized the vital role of electoral participation in strengthening democracy and urged students to become active and responsible citizens by exercising their right to vote.
