Cachar Admin issues directive for all government employees

way2barak, October 18: In light of the Election Commission of India’s notification for the upcoming Bye-Election to the LA-11 Dholai (S/C) Constituency, scheduled to be held on 13th November 2024, followed by the counting of votes on 23rd November, the Cachar District Administration has issued a directive for all government employees.

All government employees, both Central and State, working within Cachar District, are strictly directed not to leave the district without prior approval from the undersigned until the completion of the election process. This directive comes into effect immediately and remains applicable throughout the election period to ensure the smooth and efficient conduct of the election.

It needs to be mentioned mention here that the district administration is committed to upholding the democratic process and ensuring that all necessary resources and personnel are available for the successful execution of the bye-election in LA-11 Dholai (S/C) Constituency.
