VHP thanks Central Govt for CAA Rules

way2barak, 11 March : VHP thanks the Central Government for notifying the rules under the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019. International president of the organisation Alok Kumar says that, the way is now clear for the refugees persecuted on the basis of their religion in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan to obtain Citizenship of Bharat. This would ensure that they live in Bharat with dignity and as equal persons.

The VHP calls upon its workers and other social organisations to provide all help to such refugees to complete the formalities of applying for Citizenship of Bharat at the earliest. This is in accord with the Indian tradition of giving refugee, respect and dignity to all those who suffer indignities outside and seek the shelter of Mother India, tells Alok Kumar.
