Deori promoted to Joint Director of I&PR HQ Ghy, Bijendra Gogoi to take charge in Silchar

Way2barak, September 19 : Deputy director of Information & Public Relations Barak valley Zone Silchar, Deva Prasad Deori has been promoted to the post of Joint director of Information Public Relations, Dispur.

In an official order, vide eCFNO.276865/42-A  issued by Secretary to the Govt of Assam, I&PR and P.S department on Tuesday, Deva Prasad Deori, DDIPR, Silchar is promoted to the rank of Joint director, Information and Public Relations, HQ, Dispur while Bijendra Gogoi, PRO to CM promoted to the rank of Deputy Director, Information & Public Relations, Silchar and attached to CM, PR Cell.

Sharing his reaction Deva Prasad Deori here on Tuesday said, “On my previous promotion as Deputy Director BVR, Silchar, I joined here on 1st November, 2013 and served for 4 years here in Cachar and again I was posted in Cachar as Deputy Director on 10th April,2023, Since then I received full cooperation from the staff while discharging my duties and I personally thank all the staff of this office for their sincere efforts. I hope in the coming days, the staff of this office will continue to perform their duties as they served during my tenure,” Deori quipped.
