BSF Seized 20000 Yaba Tablets in Hailakandi, arrested 1
way2barak, May 13: Acting on a specific input by BSF, a Joint team of BSF and Hailakandi Police apprehended one drug peddler namely Alta Hussain Talukdar (31 yrs), of village Rongpur Pt-3 along with 20,000 Yaba tablets from his house.
The apprehended person along with seized Yaba tablets has been taken over
by Hailakandi Police for further legal action.
It is pertinent to mention that since Jan’ 22, BSF Mizoram & Cachar Frontier
has seized 1,68,385 Yaba tablets in Barak Valley in its anti-drugs drive.
