Ahead of ensuing cabinet meeting at Silchar on 29 Nov, CM review preparations

way2barak, Nov.26: The next cabinet meeting of the Assam Government is scheduled to be held in Silchar on 29 November, 2022. It is in this backdrop that the Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on 26 November held a video conferencing with the district administration of Cachar. During the video conferencing, the Chief Minister reviewed the preparations of the cabinet meeting.

During the video conference, Deputy Commissioner Rohan Kumar Jha, District Development Commissioner (DDC) Rajib Roy, Superintendent of Police Numal Mahatta, ADC P Jidung, A. Deka and other top officials of the district were present.

The CM also took stock of the development projects under implementation and those in the pipeline. This would be the first cabinet meeting of the State Government in Barak Valley and so naturally the district administration is leaving no stones unturned so that everything happens smoothly.
