Parimal Suklabaidya hold online meeting with officials of Assam House, New Delhi

way2barak, Nov.8: Transport Minister of Assam, Parimal Suklabaidya on Monday chaired an important video conference with the officials of Assam House, New Delhi in presence of Assam Transport Commissioner Adil Khan & other senior officials of the department.

Minister held this meeting to discuss on the plans of the department to provide uninterrupted transportation facilities to the delegates & representatives who will be coming to Guwahati from various parts of Assam & then move to New Delhi to attend the 400th Birth Anniversary celebrations of Lachit Barphukan scheduled to be held on 24th & 25th November, 2022.

The Minister has directed the department to send a team of Transport officials to New Delhi to provide better assistance in respect of transport to the persons. Assam Transport Department is already in touch with Delhi Transport Corporation for arranging all necessary vehicles for the representatives. A second round of review meeting on the above matter will be held by the end of this week & will be chaired by Transport Minister. Parimal Suklabaidya.

A two-day event will be held at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi to showcase the life of Parimal Suklabaidya, one of the great warriors of eastern India who defeated the formidable Mughals in the great Battle of Saraighat, Minister said.
