ONGC to donate Advanced Ambulances to 9 Medical Colleges in Assam including SMCH

way2barak, Nov.2: As part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) will be donating 9 advanced ambulances to the medical colleges in the state of Assam. These would be provided to the Medical Colleges in Silchar, Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Tezpur, Barpeta, Lakhimpur, Diphu, Tinsukia and Guwahati.

These advanced ambulances will have a variety of medical equipment necessary in life and death situations. These include transport ventilators , suction apparatus , defibrillators, neutralizer and an oxygen supply for emergency patients. These vehicles will be flagged off from the premises of the Assam Medical College Hospital, which is celebrating its platinum jubilee this year.
