Man tried to snatch away mike from CM Assam during a programme of Ganesh Utsab in Hyderabad

way2barak, Sept.9: A man tried to confront Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma by dismantling the mike on a stage at a rally in Hyderabad. The incident took place on Friday. All of a sudden, the man came from behind, tried to snatch away the mike from front of Dr Sarma. However, others present on the dias caught hold of the person and took him away from the stage.

As per reports, the Chief Minister of Assam went to attend a programme of Ganesh Utsab in Hyderabad where the incident occurred. The man who tried to snatch away the mike from Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma was later on handed over to the police. It needs mention that Cabinet Minister Jayanta Mallahbaruah was also present with the CM Assam on the dias when the incident occurred.

Later on, addressing the media, BJP Telangana President MP Karimnagar said, “I strongly condemn security breach at Assam CM Shri Himanta Biswa Sarmaji by Pink Goons during Ganesh Shobayatra at Hyderabad. Evidently TRS leaders wanted to create unrest in a peaceful procession as TS police remained mute spectators to the heckling of Hon’ble CM.”
