Cachar Police seizes 22 cartons of liquor & 100 bags of Burmese supari in 2 separate incidents

way2barak, Aug. 27: Based on an information, OC Dholai and staff on Saturday intercepted a truck bearing Registration No RJ-47GA-2793 and seized 100 Burmese arecanut (supari) sacks. Two persons were apprehended in this matter. Further investigation is on.

In another incident, acting on a tip-off, OC Dholai and staff intercepted a white Bolero pickup bearing Registration No AS-11DC-9610 and seized 22 cartons of liquor(IMFL). One person was apprehended. Police is interrogating him to unearth further details.
