Silchar court purchases wheel chair for physically challenged

২৮ জানুয়ারিঃ শিলচর আদালতে শারীরিক প্রতিবন্ধীদের চলাচলে এখন আর কোনও সমস্যা হবে না। বহুতল নতুন দালানে আগেই লিফট লাগানো হয়েছে। ইদানিং ডিস্ট্রিক্ট লিগ্যাল সার্ভিস অথরিটির তত্ত্বাবধানে সমস্ত সিড়ি-কালভার্টের জায়গায় রাম্প তৈরি করা হয়েছে। সোমবার কেনা হয়েছে দুটি হুইল চেয়ারও। সেগুলি জেলা আদালতেই থাকবে।

শারীরিক প্রতিবন্ধীরা আদালত চত্বরে চলাচলের প্রয়োজনে রক্ষীদের কাছ থেকে চেয়ে নিতে পারবেন। এই উপলক্ষে আয়োজিত অনুষ্ঠানে এ দিন উপস্থিত ছিলেন জেলা বিচারক দারেক উল্লাহ, লিগ্যাল সার্ভিস অথরিটির সচিব সুজাতা দত্ত প্রমুখ।

January 28: The physically challenged persons will now not face any difficulty at Silchar court. Though the new multi-storied court building already has provision of lift, but now the staircase will be replaced by ramp.This will be done under the supervision of District Legal Service Authority.

On Monday, two wheelchairs were also purchased. The physically challenged persons can get the wheel chairs from the security guards. The occasion of procuring the wheel chairs was attended by District Judge Darek Ullah, Secretary of District Legal Service Authority Sujata Dutta and others.
