Daffodils School moving ahead with excellence in its stride; well performed in HSLC 2022

Paulomi Chakraborty from Daffodils shines bright in HSLC Exam 2022

June 7: The results of High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) exam and Assam High Madrassa (AHM) conducted by Board of Secondary Education (SEBA), Assam was declared at 10 AM on June 7, 2022. Barak Valley could secure only one position out of the 55 total positions secured by the students this year within the 10th place.

This year too, Daffodils School, Silchar could carve a niche for itself in the HSLC Examination. A total of 72 students appeared this year in HSLC from Daffodils. Out of the 72 students, 55 passed in 1st division, whereas, 17 came out in second division. None of the students of Daffodils failed. Distinction Marks were achieved by 09 students, whereas, 12 got star marks.

It needs mention here that Paulomi Chakraborty, daughter of Nirupam Chakraborty & Debarati Chakraborty of Malugram, Silchar was the topper from Daffodils School. She secured a total of 578 marks out of 600. She got distinction and secured 6 letters in all the 6 subjects. Paulomi got letters in English, General  Mathematics, General Science, Social Science, Advance Mathematics and Bengali.

A total of 4,19,887 candidates appeared in the HSLC exam out of which 1,95,181 are male and 2,24,706 are female. 229131 students passed, out of which, 1,95,179 are male and 2,24,708 are female. A total of 65,176 students secured 1st division, 99, 854 got second division marks, whereas, 64,101 got third division marks. Further, 1,57,104 letters in different subjects were obtained by the students in HSLC Exam this year. Also, 14,047 students scored star marks (450 & above out of 600), whereas, 8,373 students got Distinction marks (450 & above out of 600).
