Opinion Movers to organise discussion on present scenario in Assam on 23 January

January 22: Virtual media group ‘Opinion Movers’ has again come forward with a programme to be held on 23 January wherein ‘The present scenario in Assam vis-a-vis our Responsibilities’ will be discussed. The main speaker of this issue will be Prof. Nandini Bhattacharjee from the Department of English, University. of Burdwan. The discussion will be compered by eminent scholar and former Vice Chancellor of Assam University, Prof. Tapodhir Bhattacharjee.

Dipak Sengupta, the admin of the whatsapp group ‘Opinion Movers’ has informed that the said discussion programme will take place at office of the Dwijendra-Dolly Memorial Trust (opposite Great Eastern Hotel) at 6 PM on 23 January, 2019.

At present, Assam is passing through a situation of turmoil. Seeds of dissatisfaction has been sowed among the different religious and linguistic communities. To overcome this crisis, a concerted effort of the people at large is necessary. With this aim in view, ‘Opinion Movers’ is striving hard to make its presence felt by upholding constructive suggestions for a better tomorrow. This was stated by the group admin Mr. Sengupta. He further appealed to all to be present in the discussion programme and make it a success.
