Assam becomes Covid-free again on Monday, no active case in the state

May 16: On Monday, out of 211 tests, no person was detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus stands at 7,24,220. The positivity rate in the state is 0.00 percent. Further, on Monday, none died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,639. The recovery rate is 98.90 percent. 02 persons were discharged during the day. There are at present no active Covid patients in the state.

It needs mention here that on Sunday, no person tested positive in Assam and no death was registered.
