63 fresh Covid-19 cases found in Mizoram on Tuesday, 23 more than the previous day

May 3: On Tuesday, out of 575 tests, 63 more persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Mizoram. With this, the state tally of coronavirus stands at 2,27,556. On Monday, Mizoram reported 40 COVID-19 cases and one fatality. That means, Tuesday saw 23 more cases of coronavirus than the previous day. The death toll in the state stands at 697. The number of active cases now stands at 475.

It needs mention that the single-day positivity increased to 10.96 per cent from 8.10 per cent on the previous day. A total of 2,26,384 people have recovered from the infection so far in the state.
