Nepal teenager grows 70 cm long tail due to rare condition

April 14: Deshant Adhikari, a 16-year-old boy from Nepal, has grown a 70-cm ‘hairy tail’, which has stunned people and got quite famous. The boy is is being dubbed as a reincarnation of God after he went viral for growing a hairy tail from his body.

The tail was first spotted by his parents days after his birth. His parents took him to several hospitals in Nepal and even abroad to find treatment for this peculiar aspect. As per filmmaker Puskar Nepal, who interviewed Deshant, his parents came to know about his rare condition five days after he was born. Puskar added they stopped looking for treatment after priests advised them to not cut tail.

Now, Deshant showed his tail to the world saying he’s completely okay with it. The teenager did mention that in the beginning he was embarrassed by his unusual tail.
