AGM of GC College Alumni Association to be held on 7 Aug; office bearers meet MP Dr Rajdeep Roy

April 10: The next date of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Guru Charan (GC) College, Silchar has been fixed on 7 August, 2022. This was finalised in a meeting of the GC College Alumni Association, which took place in the official residence of Silchar MP Dr Rajdeep Roy in New Delhi. It needs mention here that Dr Rajdeep Roy is also an alumni of prestigious GC College.

The General Secretary and a few of the executive committee members of GCC Alumni Association had a detail discussion with MP Dr. Rajdeep Roy at his official residence in New Delhi on Sunday. They also felicitated the Member of Parliament from Silchar. The meeting was quite successful with the Generl Secretary briefing the MP about the various activities of the organisation over the years since its inception in 2005.

Meanwhile, the GC College Alumni Association was also formally registered in 2013. Apprising about the meeting, the General Secretary of the Alumni Association said, “The honourable MP Dr Rajdeep Roy was also kind enough to share his vision of taking GC College to new heights and bring back the glory of the esteemed institution. All present agreed to a bigger role of alumni all across the world in this process. He also appreciated efforts of alumni association so far and we also as an organisation value his involvement & look forward for his support.”

“We look forward to a closer association with the esteemed Member of Parliament and the College to take this vision forward,” added the General Secretary. Among all other discussions, the next date of annual general alumni meet was also finalised. The next AGM of the association will be held on 7 August, 2022. MP Dr Rajdeep Roy also confirmed to grace the occasion.
