3 in ventilation, 6 in oxygen support out of 11 active cases at SMCH, no death on Monday

Jan. 31: There has been a gradual decrease in the number of daily positive cases in Cachar district. The last 24 hours (5 PM on 30 January to 5 PM on 31 January) did not witness the death of any more Covid-19 positive patients at Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH). This was informed by Dr Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH on Monday evening.

Dr Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH informed that till 5 PM on 31 January, there were 11 Covid-19 active patients at Silchar Medical College. Further, 03 patients were put under ventilator support, and 06 in oxygen support. In the last 24 hours, 03 Covid positive patients were admitted at SMCH and 03 were discharged. A total of 12 patients were detected positive in RAT at SMCH and 02 in RTPCR on Monday. Majority of them detected positive on Monday opted for home isolation.
