8 found Covid+ve in Hailakandi on Friday, district tally rises to 38

Jan. 7: On Friday, Hailakandi registered 12 new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether has 38 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 553 RAT tests and 127 RT-PCR tests were done. No patient was discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,975 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,510 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 12 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Friday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 2,658 persons were vaccinated on Friday.
