Vaccine to be given on call for bed-ridden patients & at 2 more centres in Silchar on 26 Oct

Oct. 25: Dr Reema Patao, Medical Officer of Urban Family Welfare Unit, Silchar on Monday stated that on-spot vaccination session will take place at three centres in Silchar on Tuesday where Covishield will be administered. A total of 600 doses of Covishield will be administered on 26 October in Silchar town.

The 3 vaccination centres where Covishield will be provided are:

  • SM Dev Civil Hospital, Silchar: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 26 October.
  • Sanjivini (104) Opposite Urban PHC, Trunk Road: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 26 October.
  • Mobile Team: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be administered by this team within Silchar Municipal area on call for bed-ridden patients on 26 October.
