None found Covid positive in Hailakandi & Karimganj on Sunday

Oct. 9: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Sunday, Hailakandi registered no new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether 04 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 126 RAT tests and 06 RT-PCR tests were done. No patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,897 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,470 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that none was found positive in Hailakandi on Saturday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 2,933 persons were vaccinated on Sunday.

Karimganj registered no fresh COVID cases on Sunday. The district has currently 06 active COVID cases, while no patients has been discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Sunday. 540 swab samples were collected during the day.
