Covid vaccines to be administered at 10 centres in Silchar on 8 Oct

Oct. 7:  Dr Reema Patao, Medical Officer of Urban Family Welfare Unit, Silchar on Thursday stated that on-spot vaccination session will take place at nine centres in Silchar on Friday where Covishield will be administered, whereas Covaxin will be provided at 01 centre. A total of 2,250 doses of Covishield and 200 doses of Covaxin will be administered on 8 October in Silchar town.

The 09 vaccination centres where Covishield will be provided are:

• SM Dev Civil Hospital, Silchar: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (150 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 250 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 8 October.
• Abhya Charan patshala, Sadarghat: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (150 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 250 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 8 October.
• Durga Sankar Patshala, Ambicapatty: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (150 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 250 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 8 October.
• Urban PHC, Trunk Road: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (150 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 250 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 8 October.
• Gol Dight Mall, Nazirpatty: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (150 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 250 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 8 October.
• Imperial Mall, Club Road: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (150 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 250 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 8 October
• Fashion City, Club Road: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (150 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 250 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 8 October.
• V2 Mall, Tulapatty:Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (150 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 250 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 8 October.
• Metro Bazar, Club Road: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (150 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 250 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 8 October.

The vaccination centre where Covaxin will be provided is:

• Urban PHC, Trunk Road: Only 2nd dose (200 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration on 28 September.
