None found Covid positive in Hailakandi & 1 in Karimganj on Friday

Oct 1: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Friday, Hailakandi registered no new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether 04 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 444 RAT tests and 57 RT-PCR tests were done. 04 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,894 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,467 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that no person was found positive in Hailakandi on Thursday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 144 persons were vaccinated on Friday.

Karimganj registered 01 fresh COVID cases on Friday. The district has currently 05 active COVID cases, while 07 patients has been discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Friday. 1,084 swab samples were collected during the day.
