Development of proposed MMLP at Silchar discussed with NHIDCL & TATA consulting engineers

Sept. 24: A joint meeting was held on Friday at the Conference Hall of the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Cachar. The meeting was chaired by DC Keerthi Jalli which was also attended by J.R. Lalsim, Joint Secretary, Mini Secretariat cum ADC, Cachar and Col. Porje Arun Bhikaji, General Manager (P) NHIDCL along with other officials of the NH Department.

Development of Proposed MMLP at Silchar was discussed in the meeting with NHIDCL and its DPR consultant TATA Consulting Engineers & CBRE. The project is at present in the advance stages of planning and implementation. Further, the 4 lane project of Silchar – Churaibari section under Bharatmala Pariyojna in Cachar District was reviewed with NHIDCL for early start of work. A detailed power point presentation was also made about the projects.
