নির্বাচনের কাজে থাকা কর্মচারীদের অব্যাহতি

১৮ ডিসেম্বর : কাছাড় জেলার যেসব আধিকারিক এবং তৃতীয় ও চতুর্থ শ্রেণির কর্মচারীদের রাজ্যের পঞ্চায়েত নির্বাচনের বিভিন্ন সেলে কাজের জন্য নিয়োজিত করা হয়েছিল, তাদের মধ্যে শুধু নির্বাচনের কাজে অননুমোদিত অনুপস্থিত থাকা কর্মচারী ছাড়া সব আধিকারিক ও কর্মচারীদের মঙ্গলবার কাছাড়ের নির্বাচন আধিকারিকের জারি করা এক নির্দেশ যোগে নির্বাচনের কাজ থেকে অব্যাহতি দেওয়া হয়েছে। এই কর্মচারীদের তাদের নিজ নিজ বিভাগীয় প্রধানদের কাছে বুধবার অর্থাৎ ১৯ ডিসেম্বরের মধ্যে কাজে যোগ দেওয়ার নির্দেশ দেওয়া হয়েছে।

নির্বাচনের কাজে অননুমোদিত অনুপস্থিত কর্মচারীদের বিরুদ্ধে ১৯৫১ আইপি অ্যাক্ট, এপি অ্যাক্ট সহ কর্তব্যে গাফিলতির অনুসন্ধান ধারা অনুযায়ী তদন্ত সাপেক্ষ্য অব্যাহতি দেওয়া হবে বলেও এই নির্দেশে জানানো হয়েছে।

December 18: All officials, Grade III & IV staff who were engaged in different cells in connection with Panchayat Election, 2018 at Cachar district except those who were absent without due permission have been released from election related works. On Tuesday, Cachar District Election Officer issued a notification in this regard and asked all such employees to report to their parent institution/office positively on 19 December (Wednesday).

The said notification further stated that those employees who remained absent from poll duties without seeking prior permission in this regard shall have to face charges as per 1951 I.P. Act, A.P. Act along along with charges of negligence in duties. Employees belonging to this category will be released only if they are cleared in the investigation to be carried out against them.
