17 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Friday, 08 discharged

July 9: Hailakandi registered 17 new COVID-19 cases on Friday. Of the 17 positive cases detected on Thursday, 16 of them have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas 01 person was detected positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 115 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 872 RAT tests and 150 RT-PCR tests were done. 08 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,604 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,067 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 12 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Thursday. Till date 47 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.
