942 patients discharged in Assam on Sunday

August 2: On Sunday, 942 more patients were discharged from various hospitals across Assam. With this, a total of 32,384 patients in the state were cured and subsequently discharged. During the day, another 1178 persons tested positive in the state. At present, there are 10,412. With four more fatalities in the state, the state’s death tally went upto 105. In a tweet on Sunday night, State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote,“942 more patients have recovered & returned to their families today. Many of them would be with their sisters & brothers to celebrate #RakshaBandhan on Monday.”
