94 tests +ve in Assam on Tuesday; 102 patients discharged
Active cases 3,575 in Assam
Dec. 8: On Tuesday, out of 19,955 tests, 94 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,14,019 out of which, 3,575 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 0.47 percent.
On Tuesday, 102 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,09,444 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Further, during the day, 02 more patients died in Assam due to COVID-19. The death tally in the state now stands at 997.
