83 new COVID-19 +ve cases reported including 7 from Cachar, total rises to 2776
Active cases 2104 in Assam
June 8: Another 83 new cases of novel coronavirus were reported from Assam on Monday afternoon. With this, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the state has gone upto 2776, out of which 2104 are active cases. Further, seven more positive cases were also reported from Cachar district. Sharing this information, State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma gave the district wise break up of the 83 new patients detected on Monday afternoon.
