707 found Covid +ve in Assam on Thursday, 2 deaths & active cases 3,150 in the state

July 14: On Thursday, out of 6,123 tests, 707 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus stands at 7,28,616. The positivity rate in the state is 11.55 percent. Out of the 707 positive cases, the high case load districts are: Kamrup Metro (69), Jorhat (93), Dibrugarh (67) and Goalpara (58). Further, 32 persons were found positive in Cachar district.

Further, on Thursday, 02 died in the state due to COVID-19. The deceased are from Darrang & Kamrup Metro. The death toll in the state stands at 6,642. The recovery rate is 98.55 percent. 190 persons were discharged during the day. So far, 7,17,472 persons got cured and were discharged. There are at present 3,150 active Covid patients in the state.

It needs mention here that on Wednesday, 590 persons tested positive in Assam and 01 death was registered.
