706 found Covid +ve in Assam on Friday, 1 death & active cases 3,434 in the state

July 15: On Friday, out of 6,334 tests, 706 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus stands at 7,29,322. The positivity rate in the state is 11.15 percent. Out of the 706 positive cases, the high case load districts are: Dhubri (66), Dibrugarh (62), Goalpara (59) and Kamrup Rural (54). Further, 35 persons were found positive in Cachar district on Friday.

Further, on Friday, 01 died in the state due to COVID-19. The deceased is from West karbi Anglong. The death toll in the state stands at 6,642. The recovery rate is 98.43 percent. 421 persons were discharged during the day. So far, 7,17,4893 persons got cured and were discharged. There are at present 3,434 active Covid patients in the state.

It needs mention here that on Thursday, 707 persons tested positive in Assam and 02 deaths were registered.
