7 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Thursday, 19 discharged

July 22: Hailakandi registered only 07 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday. Of the 07 positive cases detected on Thursday, 06 of them have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas 01 was detected positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 59 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 831 RAT tests and 113 RT-PCR tests were done. 19 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,727 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,244 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 04 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Wednesday. Till date 49 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.
