7 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Sunday, none discharged

Aug 1: Hailakandi registered 07 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday. Of the 07 positive cases detected on Sunday, 05 of them have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas 02 persons were detected positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 66 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 948 RAT tests and 81 RT-PCR tests were done. No patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,797 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,307 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 03 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Saturday. Till date 50 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. During the day, 4,122 persons were vaccinated in the district.
