7 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Saturday, 15 discharged

July 17: Hailakandi registered 07 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday. Of the 07 positive cases detected on Saturday, all 07 of them have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas none were detected positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 96 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 1,708 RAT tests and 256 RT-PCR tests were done. 15 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,693 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,174 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 08 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Friday. Till date 48 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. Further, on Saturday, 1,937 persons were administered Covid vaccine (2nd dose only) in Hailakandi (till 5 PM).
