69 more +ve cases in Assam including 9 from Barak Valley, total now 2937
Active cases 2145 in Assam
June 9: Another 69 new COVID-19 positive cases were reported from 14 districts of Assam. With this, the total number of novel coronavirus cases in Assam has gone upto 2937, out of which, 2145 are active cases. On Tuesday, 1 more death due to COVID-19 was reported from Assam, thereby taking the total death tally of the state to 5. The total tally of Barak Valley also went up as 5 positive cases were detected from Karimganj, 3 from Hailakandi and 1 from Cachar.
Sharing this information, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma gave the district-wide break up of the 69 new infected cases.
