6 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Monday, 14 discharged

Aug 2: Hailakandi registered 06 new COVID-19 cases on Monday. Of the 06 positive cases detected on Monday, all of them have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas none were detected positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 58 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 1,448 RAT tests and 154 RT-PCR tests were done. 14 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,803 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,321 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 07 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Sunday. Till date, 50 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. During the day, 3,828 persons were vaccinated in the district.
