590 found Covid +ve in Assam on Wednesday, active cases 2,584 in the state

July 13: On Wednesday, out of 5,489 tests, 590 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus stands at 7,27,909. The positivity rate in the state is 10.75 percent. Out of the 590 positive cases, the high case load districts are: Kamrup Metro (60), Kamrup Rural (59), Dhubri (55) and Goalpara (50). Further, 09 persons were found positive in Cachar district.

Further, on Wednesday, none died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,641. The recovery rate is 98.55 percent. 190 persons were discharged during the day. So far, 7,17,333 persons got cured and were discharged. There are at present 2,584 active Covid patients in the state.
