557 found Covid +ve in Assam, 1813 discharged & 10 deaths registered on Monday

Feb. 7: On Monday, out of 35,952 tests, 557 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 7,21,937. The positivity rate in the state is 1.55 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 116 positive cases during the day. Further, on Monday, 10 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,571. The recovery rate is 97.92 percent. Also, 1,813 persons were discharged during the day. There are at present 7,088 active Covid patients in the state.

It needs mention here that on Sunday, 256 persons tested positive in Assam and 12 deaths were registered.
