55 found Covid +ve in Assam, 443 discharged & 4 deaths registered on Wednesday

Feb. 16: On Wednesday, out of 6,588 tests, only 55 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 7,23,814. The positivity rate in the state is 0.83 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 16 positive cases during the day. Further, on Wednesday, 04 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,619. The recovery rate is 98.69 percent. Also, 443 persons were discharged during the day. There are at present 1,508 active Covid patients in the state.

It needs mention here that on Tuesday, 66 persons tested positive in Assam and 05 deaths were registered.
