53 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Thursday, 136 discharged

June 10: Hailakandi registered 53 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday. Of the 53 positive cases detected on Thursday, 48 have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) and 05 found positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 1,021 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 2,095 RAT tests and 308 RT-PCR tests were done. 136 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 6,991. As of now, a total of 2,565 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 58 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Wednesday.

As of now, in the 58,738 persons have received the 1st dose of the vaccine (irrespective of age), whereas, 17,047 have been administered the 2nd dose in Hailakandi district.
